Since 2008, Roselee Mathu has been helping women with tightly textured hair fall in love with their natural hair while creating the freedom to show up authentically in the world. What began through providing Sisterlocks™ services has evolved into a much bigger mission: empowering Locticians to master their craft, serve with excellence, and build profitable businesses designed around the lives they actually want to live.
For Roselee, natural hair care has never been simply about doing hair. It is about “hair whispering”, learning to understand the person, the hair, the lifestyle, and the vision before creating a solution. Her approach to locs is highly personalized, allowing each client’s hair to complement how they want to live and show up in the world.
That philosophy became the foundation of the Signature Loc Method™.
As a former Sisterlocks™ Master Trainer, educator, mentor, and natural hair professional, Roselee has spent more than 15 years developing Locticians. She has trained more than 2,000 students in classroom settings and, since 2017, has helped launch more than 20 six-figure businesses. Today, her work extends beyond teaching technique to helping Locticians make the transition from talented service providers to confident business owners, educators, mentors, and CEOs.
More Than a Method
The Signature Loc Method brings together technical excellence, personalized client care, personal development, community, and business strategy. At its heart is Roselee's 4 C's Framework: Congruence, Capacity, Compassion, and Community.
Roselee believes that God does not make carbon copies. Your business should not require you to become one either.

From Service Provider to CEO
Roselee's own journey has taken her from service provider to educator, mentor, business strategist, systems coach, and technology founder. Each role has helped her understand a different part of the journey Locticians experience as their businesses grow.
That experience led her to create the Loc'dIn CEO Command Center, an all-in-one business system designed specifically for Microlocs specialists, trichologists, natural hair educators, and other professionals building structured natural hair businesses.
Loc'dIn wasn't created by a technology company guessing how a loc business operates. It was designed by a Microlocs specialist who has lived the work.
The system helps beauty professionals organize and automate their operations, strengthen client management, protect their boundaries, and create the infrastructure needed to scale, so they can spend less time managing the chaos behind the business and more time leading it.
Creating a Legacy Through Natural Hair
Roselee's vision extends beyond her own chair, classroom, or company. She is building an ecosystem where knowledge creates opportunity.
Her work has helped Locticians establish thriving businesses, become mentors and educators themselves, host their own classes, and create opportunities for the next generation of professionals. Her influence has extended beyond the United States through education and mentorship reaching professionals in Kenya and the Netherlands.
Originally from Zimbabwe and now based in Atlanta, Georgia, Roselee is a wife and mother of two. Her own journey has reinforced one of the beliefs at the center of everything she teaches:
